Chase Card Services Co-Sponsors Army Concert Tour For Sixth Year

WILMINGTON, Del. – July 12, 2006 – For the sixth consecutive year, Chase Card Services [NYSE: JPM] will co-sponsor the Army Concert Tour, a series of live country, rock and hip hop concerts spanning four months and a good part of the United States.

American Idol winner Carrie Underwood and former contestant Bo Bice are among the performers featured during the tour, along with country artists Josh Turner, Jamie Johnson, Dierks Bentley, and Trent Willmon. Rock fans will enjoy the legendary Lynyrd Skynyrd, 3 Doors Down, Cowboy Mouth, and more. Among hip hop and R&B artists performing are Dem Franchize Boyz, Young Dro, LeToya, and Cherish.

Locations include military installations Fort Bragg (NC); Redstone Arsenal and Fort Rucker (AL); Fort McCoy (WI); Fort Leonard Wood (MO); and Fort Benning (GA). (See attached schedule for full list of artists, dates and locations.)

Concerts are for Soldiers, their families and surrounding military communities. The Chase Card Services sponsorship helps underwrite a portion of the talent costs and enables tickets to be sold at an affordable price. Proceeds from each concert are kept at the installation level to benefit local Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) programs for Soldiers.

The Army Concert Tour, established in 1994, is produced by MWR and the U.S. Army Community and Family Support Center's Entertainment Division. More than a half million people have attended the concert events since their inception.

"We are proud of our partnerships with the various branches of service and continuously work with them to support our military personnel around the world," said Shelley Sanders, senior vice president for Military and Government programs at Chase. "We are especially proud of the sponsorships for military scholarships, recreational programs and special events such as the Army Concert Tour."

Pierre Laxa, chief, Corporate Partnership Branch, U.S. Army Community and Family Support Center, said: "Chase's sponsorship of the Army Concert Tour is invaluable since its financial support helps offset costs associated with the program. We are certainly appreciative of Chase's long-term partnership with the tour and Army MWR."

The Chase Card Services Military Club Card program is available at more than 160 military installations around the world. The program also provides merchant processing, central banking programs and membership reporting, and accounting for military installations. Through a new program, Chase will be offering additional services to Army installations, including a customer loyalty program, gift cards, checking processing services, and consultant services.
